IPL photorejuvenation

A true gem in cosmetic medicine!

IPL (Intense Pulse Light), also referred to as photorejuvenation, is a safe non-invasive laser treatment. For a fraction of a second, the intense heat generated by multiple light beams penetrates the skin without damaging the surface. This process exfoliates damaged cells and stimulates collagen production. Result? A softer, rejuvenated and revitalized skin!

What does the treatment involvef?

Length of the session: 30 to 60 minutes
Frequency: 2 to 4 treatments, at 1-month intervals
Maintenance program: 2 to 3 sessions per year

No preliminary preparation. No needles. No bandages.

There are practically no side effects to skin photorejuvenation. A most, a slight rash might appear but it will subside within a few hours. Also, the thin crust that appears on the surface of the skin after a treatment will flake away within a few days.

Is it painful?

It is a bit uncomfortable, but not painful. In fact, applying a cold gel on the treatment region prior to the treatment can lessen the slight pricking feeling. In other words, the discomfort can be controlled by using a numbing cream.

What results can I expect?

Within days or weeks of every IPL photorejuvenation treatment, your skin will be softer, clearer, more luminous and even-toned. A true dip in the “Fountain of Youth”!

Give yourself a little shot of youth!

What skin conditions can it treat?

  • Sagging skin, dilated pores, wrinkles and fine lines
  • Pigmented lesions: brown spots, freckles, uneven pigmentation
  • Vascular lesions: collapsed veins and rash, rosacea
  • Acne: obstructed sebaceous glands, painful red bumps and uneven skin surface
  • Photo-aging: brown spots, rough skin, dilated pores, dull complexion and couperose
