For permanent removal of unwanted hair
Combining the benefits of GentleLase and GentleYag, two lasers recognized as best in their class, GentleMax is the first device to use multiple wavelengths designed specifically for the most common cosmetic medicine procedure.
Mostly used for permanent hair removal, GentleMax is also effective in the treatment of vascular lesions and discoloring on the legs and face, wrinkle reduction, and skin rejuvenation.
Presenting numerous advantages over older technologies, it is one of the best hair removal systems available today.
The GentleMax device is effective for hair removal on olive or dark skin, or skin tones resistant to permanent hair removal using conventional laser treatment. Hair can even be permanently removed from black skin.
What does the treatment involve?
GentleMax destroys hair at the follicle. After each treatment, there is some re-growth, however, fewer in number and much finer than before. Eventually hair growth ceases.
Treatment: 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the area being treated.
Frequency: 3 to 8 treatments, every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on re-growth and the hair’s response to treatment.
Are there side effects?
The treatment can sometimes lead to a reddening of the skin, bruising or temporary swelling. Applying cold compresses and a soothing cream immediately after a hair removal session can lessen these side effects.
Is it painful?
Laser hair removal is not completely painless. According to many patients however, it is seen as less painful than waxing. You will feel a pricking sensation and heat as the light beam penetrates the skin. The treated area will be somewhat red and swollen for anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours.
Since GentleMax uses a double laser technology, the treatments are shorter, cause less discomfort and swelling, and the entire hair removal process will be complete in less time.
- Elimination of unwanted hair
GentleMax effectively destroys the type of fine hair that was once difficult to get rid of using traditional laser technologies.
What skin conditions can GentleMax correct?
- Hair removal on all types of skin (white, olive, black)
Say goodbye to unwanted hair!
